Make sure you prioritize each priority. At the end of the day, you will know exactly what you need to do.

Another great strategy is to create a short-term plan for achieving each goal. You might write down a list of actions you want to take for a week or a day. For example, you might promise yourself to do the shopping for groceries at a specific time each week. Or maybe you would like to get the dog to his new home by a specific time each day. These short-term goals are often the building blocks of long-term plans.

You can also make a list of skills you need to master and acquire. This is a useful way to organize your time. When you list out your skills, make sure you write down everything from crossword puzzles to cooking. Listing out your skills gives you a concrete way to evaluate how much time you are wasting each day doing activities you don't need to be doing.

Once you have done that, try to set aside a specific amount of time each day to work on one skill or task. If you're a book worm, spend ten to fifteen minutes each day reading a book. Think about what you could learn from reading a book rather than spending a half hour doing it.

Make sure that you know exactly how much time you will be wasting if you don't do your tasks. Write down this number somewhere so that you know whether to do it this week or next week. Decide exactly what you will study or do once you get to your goals. Are you going to read for two hours a day, or a little more or a little less? When you make these decisions up front, you'll be less tempted to procrastinate.

You can use your goals as motivation and as a guide. You may not know exactly how to get there tomorrow or the next day, but you'll be able to look back on your goals and see how close you came to making them happen. They may seem impossible now, but they really aren't. If you get started today, you can get on the road to success.
